24/7 Monitoring Services

Fire Alarm Monitoring

Around-the-clock UL-listed central station monitoring, backed by PCS's own Warden platform — for single sites and multi-property portfolios.

Overview

Always On. Always Watching.

Powered Control Systems provides 24/7 fire alarm monitoring for commercial facilities across Utah. Your fire alarm signals report to a UL-listed central station: when your system activates, the central station immediately retransmits the alarm to the fire department and notifies your designated contacts, around the clock, 365 days a year. PCS also monitors your system in-house through Warden, the monitoring platform we built ourselves.

For property managers and building owners with multiple locations, Warden provides centralized visibility across your entire portfolio — live system status, alarm history, inspection records, and dispatch logs — from a single dashboard.

PCS monitoring is particularly valuable for facilities we also install and service — we enroll your system with its exact configuration and zone list. We handle the DACT or IP communicator setup, the central station enrollment, and the fire department notification list — you're covered from day one.

Portfolio Management

Property managers with multiple buildings see every site on one dashboard and are notified only when an event truly needs their attention.

PCS both installs your system and monitors it, so it is enrolled with its exact configuration and zone list from day one.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Warden is the fire alarm monitoring and management platform PCS built and maintains in-house for commercial clients. It provides real-time fire alarm system status, alarm and event history, inspection records, and multi-site portfolio management through a web-based dashboard accessible from any device.

Most commercial fire alarm systems are required by NFPA 72 and local codes to have their signals monitored by a listed supervising station (central station). This means you cannot simply have an alarm that sounds on-site — it must report to a monitoring service that can dispatch the fire department. PCS handles all aspects of central station enrollment and compliance.

NFPA 72 requires the supervising station to retransmit a fire alarm signal to the fire department immediately. Where the local AHJ requires alarm signal verification, NFPA 72 limits it to 90 seconds so dispatch is not delayed.

Yes. PCS can enroll virtually any fire alarm system in UL-listed central station monitoring and in our in-house Warden platform, regardless of who manufactured or installed the system. We handle the communicator installation and programming needed to connect it.
